Hola! I know it's been a long time since I rapped at ya, but let me tell you, it's been a very interesting last few weeks! I am still making the transition into a new position (in said positions busiest time of the year). What better way to learn how to do something than to be thrown right into it and see if you can swim!
I've been traveling a lot and putting in some long days, but Oh has it been great!!! The last two weeks have been spent designing fixtures and sets for a giftware sales show. It's pretty amazing to see designs that start out as scribbles come to life in under a week.
Needless to say, the running has been sporadic as of late. It will balance out, though. I am considering this to be some good down-time in the running end of things, but am already getting excited thinking of events to start training for.
One of the nice things about my new gig is that it is remarkably close to Hyland park in Bloomington, so the trails and hills there will be fun to explore. It's also a hop skip and a jump away from the RTA, so that's looking promising as well.
On a down-note, the Lifetime Fitness nearest to my new gig is not open to mere "Gold" members such as myself. Nope, I have to be some other special mineral member in order to gain access into the lavendar and eucalyptus scented locker rooms there. That might be the last straw with Lifetime.
Perhaps I'll try Matt Patten's P90X challenge right in the comfort of my living room...

I was just wondering about you the other day. Glad to hear you're doing well!
So does your home smell of lavendar and eucalyptus?
Good to see you here on the internet again! Glad things are going well! :-)
Glad you're doing well! Hope the new gig is making you happy :)
Keith,
i`m just a fellow from germany so please excuse me for the bad english...
I was wondering yesterday since reading your blog in one day: Why not change to minimalistic footwear? I have no injuries, pain,...while running with shoes. But there must be a way to run without cushion and that stuff.
are you able to answer the question why should i change over to minimalistic shoes or barefoot? and how?
