Dallas

Last evening, I got out for a nice long run on the Katy trail that starts about a mile away from my hotel. It was good stuff! 75 degrees outside as the sun began to set…it felt good to get out for a run where I didn’t have to bundle up! In fact, I got to take my shirt off and felt like I was really flying! It is so dry here sweat instantly turned into salt...

I found some good singletrack down by the river, then got sorta turned around and wound up crossing a dry creekbed and then found myself in some kind of latino automobile gathering well after the sun had gone down. This morning I am happy and sore the way only a long distance run can make me.

Good times!

I used to run the "Katy Trail" when I was living in St. Louis! Crushed Limestone all the way, right along the Missouri River. Never ran into any tuner cars, thankfully :)
